Punjab Govt Announces 30000 Scholarships for Undergraduate
The Government of Punjab has introduced 30,000 new scholarships under the Chief Minister’s Honhaar Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2025. This initiative aims to provide merit-based financial assistance to deserving and talented students pursuing undergraduate degrees across Punjab. The scholarship will cover the full tuition fees of eligible students, offering significant financial relief to those belonging to economically challenged families. Application Procedure
Students who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online by visiting the official Punjab Higher Education Commission PHEC website. The application process is entirely digital, and no hard copies will be accepted. For additional guidance or queries, applicants can visit the PHEC portal or contact the PHEC helpline for support throughout the process.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the scholarship, students must fulfill the following conditions:
- Academic Qualification: Must have completed Intermediate FA/FSc/ICS/12th Grade with at least 70% marks.
- Domicile: Applicants must possess a Punjab domicile.
- Family Income: The monthly family income should not exceed Rs. 350,000 for public sector HEIs.
- Degree Programs: Students enrolled in BS, BA, BSc, MBBS, or any other undergraduate programs are eligible to apply.
Application Deadline
- Last Date to Apply: 15th September 2025
- Applications must be submitted online through the Punjab Scholarship Application Portal.
- Hard copy submissions will not be entertained under any circumstances.
