Punjab Govt Announced Promotion Criteria For Students
A meeting of Inter Provincial Education Ministers held yesterday and the decision was taken to reopen schools from 18th January 2021 in phases. Besides, this decision for reopening schedule of the schools, the Punjab Government has also announced the promotion criteria to next grades for all students of schools across the Punjab.
According to details, the Provincial Education Minister, Punjab, Murad Ras announced that the students will be promoted to next levels without commencement of exams. As per decision, the students will be promoted to next classes on the basis of 50% homework/assignments, and 50 percent of marks in exams. The decision was taken by both federal and provincial and educational minister. Both ministers agreed to apply different methodology for promotion rather than direct promotion without exams.
