Punjab Govt Annouced New Winter Timing for Schools
The Government of Punjab has introduced new winter timings for all public and private schools across the province, effective from October 16, 2025, to March 31, 2026. The students can get the latest updates of Punjab Government Implements New Winter Schedule for Schools.
Updated School Timings for Winter 2025–26 Announced
As per the official notification, single-shift boys’ schools will operate from 8:45 AM to 2:45 PM from Monday to Thursday, while on Fridays, classes will conclude early at 12:30 PM. Meanwhile, girls’ schools with a single shift will start slightly earlier, from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM during the week and close at 12:15 PM on Fridays.
For double-shift boys’ schools, the morning shift will run from 8:45 AM to 12:45 PM Monday to Thursday and up to 12:30 PM on Fridays. The afternoon shift will begin at 1:00 PM and end at 5:00 PM on weekdays, while Friday classes will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Similarly, girls’ schools with double shifts will follow the same structure. Their morning shift will be from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM on regular days and 8:30 AM to 12:15 PM on Fridays. The evening shift will start at 12:45 PM and finish at 4:45 PM on weekdays, and from 1:45 PM to 4:45 PM on Fridays.
