Punjab Government to Revise 11th Class Curriculum
The Punjab government has announced plans to revise the 11th class syllabus, marking another step in its ongoing effort to improve the provincial education system. The students can get the latest updates of Punjab Government to Revise 11th Class Curriculum After Student Feedback.
According to official sources, following the recent changes made to the ninth-grade curriculum, authorities will now focus on restructuring the eleventh-grade syllabus. The decision was taken in response to complaints from students and teachers, who pointed out issues such as excessive course content and numerous factual and structural errors in the existing syllabus introduced earlier this year.
PCTB Forms Committees to Review and Simplify Intermediate Syllabus
The Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board PCTB has already established special review committees tasked with examining the syllabus and recommending necessary adjustments. These committees are working to reduce unnecessary content and improve clarity and accuracy in the textbooks.
Reports indicate that preliminary recommendations for trimming down the ninth-grade syllabus have been finalized, and an official notification regarding syllabus reduction is expected to be released in the first week of November. The same process will soon be applied to the 11th-grade curriculum, ensuring that future textbooks are more balanced, student-friendly, and error-free.
