Punjab Government New App for Online Classes

Due to Coronavirus pandemic spreading in the country, there governments have imposed the lockdown all over the country and all of the educational institutes, including schools, colleges and universities are closed and the government has declared the vacation till 31 May. The students have to stay at home and the government has started on the educational activities online by starting the online classes so that the precious year of the students may not go waste. Now Punjab government has started the different services to help in facing the pandemic and facilitating the students in their homes. Punjab Government New App for Online Classes.

The government of the Punjab has launched their TV channel, Taleem Ghar this month and now the government has introduced the app, which is now coming soon and it will help the students to carry on their academic activities while staying at their homes. This mobile application has been launched and it is also named with the similar name as Taleem Ghar.

The students of class one to eight andmatric and intermediate classes will get the education by use of this app. This app will be added with huge number of localized and multimedia lessons and it will be available for the students freely. The students will download the lectures providing on science, languages, mathematics and other subjects, which are available with animated teachers through the cable TV, application and website.
The chairman of Punjab Information Technology Board has announced the launching of this app after having the meeting with the directors and other senior members of the IT Board. this initiative is being taken in order to encourage the students with the remote learning in their homes. The project of Taleem Ghar is the joint venture of the Punjab Information Technology Board, Program Monitoring and Implementation Unit of Punjab Government and School Education Department.
