Punjab Education Minister Suggests Smart Lockdown in Schools

Punjab Education Minister announced that all education ministers of all provinces including AJK and GB will attend the meeting of National Command and Control Center to discuss the matters regarding Coronavirus and the situation of schools. The students will be provided the updates about the proposed plan by interprovincial educational ministers. Punjab Education Minister said that there is no need to close the educational institutes but the smart lockdown may be imposed in the schools to meet the danger of corona pandemic. The honourable minister further added that schools in Punjab will remain open and the government is monitoring the situation, which is under control. The Federal Education Minister said that it might be possible to declare the winter vacations early and the winter vacations can be extended so students stay at their homes and remain safe.
