Punjab Class 8 Board Exams to Use Digital E Sheets 2026
For the first time in Punjab’s history, the Punjab Education Commission PEC will conduct the annual Class 8 Exams using digital answer sheets, also known as e-sheets. The students can get the latest updates of Punjab to Launch Digital Answer Sheets for Class 8 Exams.
Under this new system, students’ answer sheets will be scanned and evaluated digitally. District Chief Executive Officers of Education will be responsible for collecting the Exam papers from schools in their respective districts to ensure a smooth digital processing system.
The PEC had earlier announced that Class 8 annual exams across the province will commence on March 9, 2026. According to the official schedule, Mathematics will be the first paper on March 9, followed by Urdu on March 10, English on March 11, and Science on March 12. These four core subjects will be evaluated centrally through the e-sheet system, while schools will manage assessments for all other subjects locally.
Officials have instructed students to arrive at their Exam centers at least 30 minutes before the start of each paper. Exams will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The commission plans to release the final results on April 9, 2026.
