Punjab Clarifies Policy on School Summer Camps
The Punjab Education Department has released a new directive addressing concerns about ongoing summer camps in schools, offering clear guidelines for parents and students. The students can get latest updates of Punjab Clarifies Policy on School Summer Camps.
As per the latest announcement, participation in these summer camps is completely optional. Schools are strictly prohibited from pressuring parents to enroll their children or demanding any mandatory payments for camp-related activities.
Summer Camp Attendance Voluntary, Says Education Department
The department made it clear that while schools may hold summer camps, attendance remains a personal choice for families. Parents who decide not to send their children cannot be forced to pay any associated fees or comply with attendance requirements.
Summer Camps Limited to Specific Dates
In addition, the department has established a fixed schedule for the summer camps. They are authorized to run only from June 16 to July 15, 2025. Schools have been instructed to strictly follow this timeline and ensure that no extra charges or requirements are imposed on parents beyond the approved camp period.
