Punjab Boards Release Inter Date Sheet for 2026 Exams
The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has officially unveiled the tentative schedule for the Higher Secondary School Certificate HSSC Annual Examinations 2026. This announcement affects millions of students across all nine divisional boards, including BISE Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, and Faisalabad. According to the newly released Punjab Board Inter Date Sheet, the academic session will conclude with the 12th-grade examinations commencing in early May, followed immediately by the 11th-grade papers.
Detailed Timeline for 11th and 12th Class Exams
The PBCC has structured the timetable to ensure a smooth transition between the two academic years. Students should prepare for the following primary milestones:
- 12th Class 2nd Year Exams Start: May 5, 2026
- 11th Class 1st Year Exams Start: May 22, 2026
- Practical Examinations: Expected to begin in the third week of June 2026
- Morning Session Timing: 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- Evening Session Timing: 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM Friday session starts at 2:30 PM
The Punjab Board annual exams will be conducted in two shifts to accommodate the massive influx of private and regular candidates. Officials have emphasized that while the schedule is tentative, any minor adjustments will be communicated well in advance of the roll number slip issuance.
Preparation for the HSSC Annual Session
Education experts advise students to align their revision with the intermediate exam schedule to avoid last-minute stress. All science and arts group subjects, including Biology, Mathematics, and Computer Science, have been allotted specific gaps to allow for effective revision.
