Punjab Boards Postponed Matric 2nd Annual Exams Due to Floods
In light of the severe floods across Punjab, major educational boards, including the Lahore Board, have postponed the matric supplementary examinations 2025. Originally scheduled to start on 10 September, the exams will now commence on 29 September. Reason Behind the Delay
Officials stated that the ongoing heavy rainfall and flooding in multiple areas of Punjab made it necessary to delay the exams by nearly three weeks. The step has been taken to ensure the safety of students and to allow time for conditions to improve. A revised date sheet will be announced shortly.
Impact on Students and Roll Number Slips
Prior to this announcement, students were waiting for their supplementary exam date sheets and roll number slips. Due to the uncertain situation caused by the floods, boards had temporarily suspended their issuance. With the updated schedule now in place, students can expect their roll number slips to be distributed soon.
Finalization of New Schedule
The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen will finalize and release the revised date sheet. Once confirmed, roll number slips will be officially issued to all candidates in accordance with the new timetable.
