Punjab Board Technical Education DAE Admission Dates 2026

Punjab Board of Technical Education, based in Lahore, has announced the revised timetable for submitting admission forms for the First Annual Examinations 2026 of various diploma programs. These examinations will cover several technical programs including the Diploma of Associate Engineering, the Sino-Pak Dual Diploma Program, Diploma in Dress Making, and the City and Guilds Level 3 Bridge Course. The board has shared the updated schedule to guide students and institutions in completing the admission process within the specified time. Important Deadlines for Submission of Admission Forms for DAE, DDM and Bridge Course Exams

According to the examination plan issued by the board, the practical examinations for students of the second, third, and fourth years will begin on 27 April 2026. After the completion of practical assessments, the theory examinations for students of the first, second, third, and fourth years will start on 29 June 2026. Students enrolled in these diploma programs are advised to follow the instructions carefully and stay updated regarding any announcements made by the board about the upcoming examinations.

The PBTE board has also provided a detailed schedule for the submission of admission forms. Candidates who wish to apply for the examinations can submit their admission forms with the regular or single examination fee until 25 March 2026. Along with the submission of the online admission form, the final printed copy of the online admission data list must be sent to the board by 30 March 2026 to complete the process.

Students who fail to submit their forms within the regular fee deadline will still have an opportunity to apply by paying a double fee. In this case, the online admission forms can be submitted until 1 April 2026, while the printed version of the online data list must reach the board by 6 April 2026. This additional period allows candidates to complete their registration if they miss the initial deadline.

Furthermore, the board has allowed another extended period for students who are unable to meet the earlier deadlines. Candidates can submit their admission forms by paying a triple fee until 8 April 2026. After completing the online submission, the printed copy of the admission data list must be forwarded to the board by 13 April 2026. These extended deadlines provide another opportunity for students to finalize their registration for the examinations.

In addition to these options, the board has made special provisions for students who may have genuine difficulties in meeting the earlier deadlines. Such hardship cases will be allowed to submit their admission forms online by paying the triple fee along with an additional daily fine of Rs. 500. The final date for submission of these forms under hardship cases is 20 April 2026. Students who fall into this category should ensure that they complete the process before this last date.
