Punjab Board Announces Admission and Exam Schedule 2025
Punjab Education Department has unveiled the schedule for upcoming exams, educational activities, and the new admission policy for the Rawalpindi division, covering the period from January 15 to May 31, following the reopening of schools and educational institutions. The students can get latest updates of Punjab Board Announces Matric and Inter Exam Schedule 2025.
The new academic year for 2025-26 in Punjab will commence on April 1. Admissions for junior grades, including Prep, Nursery Class I, and other early levels, are set to begin on February 3. The department has also outlined key dates for the annual examinations and admissions for students in various classes.
The annual examination schedule for different levels is as follows:
Matriculation exams: Set to begin on March 4
Class IX exams: Starting from March 21
Intermediate exams: Scheduled for the first week of May In addition to these, annual exams for Classes I to VIII will be held from March 12 to March 25, with results expected by March 31.
Admissions in government schools will take place in two distinct phases:
Phase 1: From April 1 to May 31 for Classes I to II
Phase 2: From August 15 to October 31 for additional intakes Each class will accommodate a 10% increase in student capacity for new admissions, which will limit the number of new enrollments in government schools.
Private schools, according to Abrar Ahmad Khan, President of the All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association APPSMA, will start their admissions on February 1. The annual exams for private schools will take place in February, and the new academic year will begin in March.
