The Punjab Government Benevolent Fund has announced the schedule for its Scholarship Program 2026, offering financial assistance to the children of serving, retired, disabled, and deceased government employees across Punjab.

According to official details, students who have passed Matric or higher examinations with at least 60 percent marks and are currently enrolled in higher classes can apply for the scholarship. The program covers students studying at Intermediate, Bachelor’s, BS, MA, MSc, MS, and MPhil levels in all academic disciplines.

Who Can Apply for Punjab Benevolent Fund Scholarship 2026
  • Children of in-service government employees
  • Children of retired or medically disabled employees
  • Children of deceased government servants
  • Students must have secured 60% or above marks
  • No subject failure or absence in examinations is allowed

Normally, applications can be submitted for two children per family. However, families with a child enrolled in a recognized special education institution may apply for three children.

Children of deceased employees are eligible for support from primary level up to matric, ensuring continued education after the loss of a breadwinner.

Application Dates and Procedure

The application window will remain open from January 1, 2026, to March 31, 2026.
Applicants must submit the prescribed  Punjab Benevolent Fund Scholarship 2026 form, duly verified by the head of the educational institution, through their respective departments.

Required Documents

Applicants must attach:
  • Student’s B-Form or CNIC
  • Parents’ CNIC copies
  • Latest attested result card internet printouts not accepted
  • Salary slip December 2024 or January 2025 for in-service employees
  • Pension documents PPO for retired employees
