Punjab Announces Schools Summer Vacations & Exams Schedule
The Government of the Punjab has taken the decision regarding the summer vacations and the schedule of the exams. Punjab School Education Department has announced that the summer vacations will comprise of two months, which will start from 01 June to 31 July 2022 in all public and private schools. Punjab Announces Schools Summer Vacations & Exams Schedule and the educational institutes in the government and private sectors will be responsible to implement this schedule in their schools and colleges.
The government will start the new academic year 2022-23 from 01 August and the annual exams from class 1 to 8 will be managed from May. All provincial governments attended the meeting and they agreed upon the decision of this meeting. It was also decided that the exams will be included with 40% MCQs and 60% will be subjective type questions. The matric class annual exams will be started from 17 May and the intermediate class annual exams will be conducted from 15 June. The winter vacations in all educational institutes will be observed from 22 December to 31 December 2022.
