Public Service Test Re-Scheduled After Copy Scandal
In a startling revelation following the MDCAT examinations, a new episode of malpractice has surfaced within the Public Service Commission PSC. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission has taken swift action by issuing a public notice, declaring a re-run of the examination scheduled for December 23.
Key Details:
The controversy revolves around the recruitment test for the position of Superintendent of Police SDO conducted on June 24 in the departments of Irrigation and C&W. During the examination, 18 candidates were apprehended for engaging in unauthorized copying.
The Public Service Commission reported that candidates were found in possession of electronic devices, guides, and other materials related to cheating. Consequently, the answer sheets of these candidates were nullified, highlighting a blatant breach of examination integrity.
Stringent Measures:
In response to this breach of trust, the Public Service Commission has imposed a ban on candidates involved in such malpractices, ranging from one to three years.
