PU New Campus Timings and Working Days Notification 2026
The Office of the Registrar at the University of the Punjab has issued a new directive, referring to earlier notifications dated 10.03.2026, 11.03.2026, and 31.03.2026, along with instructions from the Higher Education Department, Government of Punjab. The students can get the latest updates of PU Issues Revised Office and Academic Schedule.
New Working Days and Timings Announced for Campus Operations
According to this update, the university will operate on campus from Monday to Thursday until further notice. Official working hours will be from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on these days.
Key Instructions and Adjustments
- Heads of Departments will reorganize class schedules in consultation with the respective Deans.
- Academic and administrative offices will remain closed on Fridays. However, online classes may be arranged if required, with approval from the concerned authorities.
- Faculty members must strictly observe mandatory contact hours, and any required adjustments to credit hours or lab work will be managed by the respective departments.
- University transport services will operate four days a week Monday to Thursday.
- On-campus examinations may be rescheduled by the Heads of Departments and Deans, while exams under the Controller of Examinations will follow separate instructions issued by that office.
- Essential departments such as Gardening, Sanitation, Engineering Branch, Security Office, and Health Centre will adjust their operations as needed. Their working hours will be 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM from Monday to Thursday and Saturday.
