PSED Extends E-Transfer Application Deadline for Teachers
The Punjab School Education Department has officially announced an extension for the current round of teacher e-transfer applications. Recognizing the need for additional time to ensure a seamless submission process, the PSED department has adjusted the schedule to accommodate all eligible educators. This update is a vital development for teaching staff across the province, providing a final opportunity for those seeking relocation within the public school system to finalize their requests through the online transfer portal.
Revised Timeline and Application Schedule
Under the updated guidelines, the deadline for submitting electronic transfer applications has been moved to July 5, 2026. This extension ensures that all interested teachers have sufficient time to submit their documentation without disruption. Following the application phase, the department will initiate the verification process, which is scheduled to take place from July 7 to July 13. This rigorous verification phase is essential for maintaining transparency and accuracy in the allocation of teaching positions.
Finalization and Issuance of Transfer Orders
Once the verification stage is complete, the department will open a window for addressing any transfer objections or grievances, which will be received and processed from July 14 to July 18. This inclusive approach allows for necessary corrections before the final phase. Following the resolution of all pending issues, the Punjab School Education Department will officially release the final teacher transfer orders on July 21.
