PSED Dec Exams New Schedule Announcement

Punjab Government manages the 9 months exams of all classes in the schools and colleges and now Punjab School Education Department has announced the new schedule to manage the December exams of all classes across the province. It is decided that the December exams will be held on 01 February for the previous year, which was delayed because of the closing of the schools during COVID-19 pandemic. The department will manage the objective type papers from 01 February and the annual exams are going to be conducted at the end of April and the teachers will receive the training online. During the meeting of PSED, this policy was discussed and the students will be promoted to next classes on the basis of 50% marks in homework and 50% Exams marks.

Now the educational institutes are closed once again from 23 November to 10 January, which is about one and half month amid second wave of Coronavirus pandemic. It was expected that the schools would be reopened from 11 January and the provincial education minister ruled out possibility of going on the pandemic in the province.
