PSDF Admissions Open for Skill Diploma Programs Session 2025
Lahore, February 19, 2025 – The Punjab Skills Development Fund PSDF, in collaboration with the Chief Minister’s initiative, has launched the groundbreaking "Chief Minister’s Digital Skills Program for Educated Rural Women." This first-of-its-kind initiative aims to empower rural women by providing free digital training to enhance their employability and entrepreneurial opportunities.
Starting March 15, 2025, Phase I will cover districts including Lodhran, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Sargodha, and Gujranwala. Phase II, beginning April 15, 2025, will include Sheikhupura, Bhakkar, Jhang, and others, while Phase III, starting May 15, 2025, will reach Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Mianwali, and more. The 6-month program offers free desktop computers, internet devices, and a PKR 30,000 stipend per trainee, along with certified online training and continuous mentorship.
Eligibility requires women to be at least 16 years old, pass an entry test, and reside within uni on Council boundaries under District Councils. Preference is given to women under 30. Training focuses on digital marketing, content creation, e-commerce, and English language skills, enabling participants to become freelancers or start online businesses via platforms like Shopify and Daraz.
