After spreading of the coronavirus pandemic in the country, the educational institutes were closed and the students were promoted to the next classes without taking their exams. now the shocking results are experienced after the students of 10th and 12th class were promoted without exams. Karachi Matric Board and Karachi Inter Board issued the result of the matric and inter classes respectively and for the first time, over 40,000 students passed the FA/FSc exams in Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering and Commerce with E and D grades and all these students obtained less than 45% marks in overall results. According to the details of result, total 33,639 students gained E grade while 735 students got E grade last year. According to HEC rules, about 40,000 students will be considered ineligible for grant of admission in any university. Now all these students will have limited academic options as HEC has announced to finish the two year degree programs in all universities of Pakistan.
