Primary Schools Closed for One Week in Lahore
Lahore is at the top of the list of the most polluted cities of the world. Because of smog, Punjab government has closed the schools since today having fifth classes in Lahore for one week. Punjab government said that they can improve the situation by having dialogue with India. The students, teachers and parents will note the complete updates of Lahore Primary Schools Closed for One Week.
Punjab government will write a letter to the foreign office to start the dialogue with India and the government will also register the case against the people, who violate the Smog SOPs. The antismog operation is still carry on in many cities including Narowal, Hafizaba, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi.
The government implement the ban on the entry of the heavy vehicles in Lahore during Friday and Sunday nights. According to the representatives of the Transport department, total 1344 vehicles were captured during October this year in the police stations. The challans against 2397 vehicles were filed and total fine of 1 crore rupees was received from such violated vehicles. The respective department inspected the fitness of about 9 thousand vehicles and two drivers were arrested. The transport department issued the fitness certificates to 5 thousands vehicle by fulfilling the technical standard.
