PPL Scholarships for Undergraduate Students

Pakistan Petroleum Limited PPL has introduced a special scholarship program for students hailing from PPL-producing districts across the country who are currently pursuing professional bachelors or masters degree programs at public sector universities. These scholarships are specifically available to students from Dera Bugti, Kashmore District, District Matriari, District Sanghar, District Chakwal, District Attock, and Tehsil Gujar Khan. Furthermore, eligible female students studying at public sector universities in Balochistan are strongly encouraged to apply.

Online Application Process

Applying for these scholarships is made easy through the Pakistan Petroleum Limited PPL website, where interested candidates can submit their applications form. The deadline for submitting applications for the PPL Scholarship is November 28, 2023.

PPL Scholarship for Higher Education in District Dera Bugti, Balochistan

With the aim of promoting inter-provincial harmony and education, PPL has exclusively designed these scholarships for students from District Dera Bugti, Balochistan, who are currently enrolled in public sector universities or institutions located in provinces other than Balochistan. Its important to note that eligible female students studying at public sector universities or institutions in Balochistan are also strongly encouraged to apply for this opportunity.

PPL Scholarship for Punjab and Sindh

This scholarship scheme is dedicated to students from specific areas admitted to HEC-recognized public sector educational institutions across Pakistan. These areas include District Kashmore 10 scholarships, District Matiari 6 scholarships, District Sanghar 6 scholarships, District Chakwal 5 scholarships, uni on Council Dakhnair & Chhab in Tehsil Jand, District Attock 5 scholarships, and Tehsil Gujjar Khan in District Rawalpindi 5 scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria for PPL Scholarships

To be eligible for these scholarships, candidates should meet the following common conditions:

They must be bona fide, domiciled residents of their respective districts.

Applicants should have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in their most recent examination.

Ideally, they should be in the early stages of their degree program, preferably in their first year.

Applicants should not be more than 28 years of age.

They must have a clean record, free from any involvement in criminal activities or moral turpitude.

Beneficiaries should not be receiving any other scholarships from different schemes.

They should demonstrate a lack of adequate financial resources and a genuine need for financial support.

Successful applicants should have secured admission in public sector universities or institutes.

Scholarships awarded under this program are initially for one year, with the possibility of extension up to four years, contingent upon the awardees satisfactory academic performance and the availability of funds for the scheme. These scholarships offer a significant opportunity for deserving students from these regions to access and pursue higher education, fostering their academic and professional growth.
