PPL Announces Higher Professional Education Scholarship Scheme 2025-26
Pakistan Petroleum Limited PPL is committed to promoting education and supporting talented students in areas surrounding its operational fields. To this end, PPL is pleased to announce its Higher Professional Education Scholarship Scheme 2025-26 for students pursuing professional bachelors or masters level degrees in Engineering, Medicine, Information Technology, Business Administration, and Education at public sector universities across Pakistan.
This initiative aims to empower students from PPL-producing districts by providing financial support to deserving candidates who demonstrate academic excellence and need assistance to pursue higher education.
Eligible Districts and Number of Scholarships
The scholarship scheme targets students from the following districts and operational areas, offering a total of 32 scholarships:

Matiari | 6 | 2 reserved for female students |
Sanghar | 6 | 2 reserved for female students |
Kashmore | 5 | 2 reserved for female students |
Chakwal | 5 | 2 reserved for female students |
Tehsil Gujjar Khan, Rawalpindi | 5 | 2 reserved for female students |
UC Chhab & Dakhnair, Tehsil Jhand, Attock | 5 | 2 reserved for female students |
Eligibility Criteria
Students interested in applying must meet the following conditions:
Must be a bonafide, domiciled resident of the respective district.
Must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the last examination.
Should be in the early stages of their degree program, preferably in the first year.
Not more than 28 years of age.
Must have a clean criminal record with no involvement in immoral acts.
Should not be availing any other scholarship.
Must lack adequate financial resources and demonstrate genuine need.
Must have secured admission in an HEC-recognized public sector university/institute.
Scholarship Duration
The scholarship is initially awarded for one year and may be extended up to 4-5 years, subject to the student’s satisfactory academic performance and availability of funds under the scheme.
