Technology-Based Systems for Efficiency

By minimizing human involvement, the council seeks to enhance efficiency, maintain accountability, and ensure better oversight of medical and dental education standards.
MDCAT 2025 Question Bank and Examination Process
During a briefing in Islamabad, PMDC President Prof. Dr. Rizwan Taj and the examination department shared details about the MDCAT 2025. While PMDC will manage registration and overall supervision, the exam will be prepared, conducted, and evaluated by public sector universities, ensuring neutrality and fairness.
Uniform Syllabus and Equal Preparation for All
The newly introduced MDCAT question bank is developed according to a standardized syllabus agreed upon by all provinces. Officials highlighted that this step will reduce errors, eliminate regional disparities, and provide all candidates with an equal opportunity to prepare effectively for the exam.
Registrations Surge as Test Centers Finalized
So far, more than 97,000 students have registered for MDCAT 2025, and the figure is expected to reach 150,000 before registrations close. To accommodate applicants nationwide, 30 test centers have been designated across the country.
Federal Minister Praises Initiative for Transparency
Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal, who officially launched the question bank, described the initiative as “a major step toward rebuilding public trust.” He also emphasized that any compromise on fairness and transparency in the examination process will not be tolerated.
