PMDC Increases MDCAT 2025 Registration Fees
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council PMDC has officially increased the registration fee for MDCAT 2025, sparking strong reactions among aspiring medical students across the country. The Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test MDCAT is the gateway to MBBS and BDS programs in Pakistan, and the hike in fees is a major update in the admission process for the upcoming academic year.
MDCAT 2025 Registration Fee Increased
The revised MDCAT 2025 registration fee structure is now significantly higher compared to previous years. This change will apply to all applicants — both domestic and international — who register for the MDCAT 2025 test scheduled for October 5, 2025.

Why Has the PMDC Increased MDCAT Fees?
According to sources within PMDC, the fee hike aims to:

- Upgrade digital infrastructure
- Enhance transparency and fairness in the examination process
- Cover rising operational costs for nationwide and international centers
However, many students and parents have expressed concern, especially regarding affordability for those from rural or low-income backgrounds.
