PMDC Entry Tests New Format in Medical Universities
Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) issued the statement and it has issued the directions to the universities to adopt the new format duly approved by PDMC for grant of admissions to the students in the universities. When the students apply for admission in MBBS and BDS programs, they will appear in the Medical and Dental College Assessment Test (MDCAT). PMDC Entry Tests New Format in Medical Universities.
PMDC has issued the statement and said that the council managed the meeting under Acting President, Dr Amir Zaman, which is scheduled to manage on 25 August. The council has prepared the new format for entry test after making the consultation with the subject experts, which are recommended by the admitting universities.
This statement further disclosed that the format has been approved by council and universities are now required to follow this new format. The admitting universities used the syllabus of regions / provinces and they are considered to be approved. The universities are required to notify and publish the approved syllabus in order to facilitate students, who want to appear in coming MDCAT.
The said committee approved the minutes of Standing Recognition Committee for dental colleges and it has resolved 25 pending cases of qualified specialists. The committee called holders of additional postgraduate qualifications to hear the cases.
