PMDC Declares 10 Medical Colleges Illegal

Islamabad, Pakistan Medical and Dental Council has made the announcement that there are few colleges, which are illegal and their MBBS and BDS degrees are termed as illegal and they are barred from further admission. PMDC Declares 10 Medical Colleges Illegal.

PMDC declared that the pre-enrolled students of these banned colleges will be shifted to other colleges so that their education cannot be disrupted. It is also said that all these 10 colleges were registered under Pakistan Medical Commission. This announcement was made at this time, when the admission in the MBBS and BDS classes are started and the students are preparing for their MDCAT test for grant to admission in the MBBS and BDS classes in the medical and dental colleges and universities located in Punjab. Following are the medical and dental colleges, which are declared illegal and their certificates have been cancelled:

Punjab

• Watim Medical College, Rawalpindi
• Naheed Dental College Lahore

Islamabad

• Shifa College of Dentistry, Shifa Tameer Millat
• Rawal Institute of Health Sciences Islamabad

Sindh

• Muhammad Dental College Mirpur
• Khairpur Medical College
• Air Force Rath Fau Medical College
• Dow Dental College of Karachi

KPK

• Abbottabad International Medical College
• Swat Medical College

It is also announced that all of the students, who are already getting education in these medical and dental colleges, they will be accommodated to other colleges and the money accepted by these colleges will be transferred to other colleges within one month.
