PMA Admissions 2025 Traninig Program
Pakistan Marine Academy PMA invites applications for its 64th Batch of Nautical Deck and Marine Engineering Cadets for the session 2025-2026. This is your opportunity to join the Merchant Navy and sail towards a bright future.
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Unmarried Pakistani male citizens
Age Limit: Not more than 20 years on 31st December 2025
Candidates from FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and Balochistan are granted 1-year age relaxation up to 21 years
Educational Qualification:
Must have passed F.Sc Pre-Engineering or A-Level with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 55% marks
Students who have completed Part-I First Year of F.Sc or A-Level with at least 80% marks may also apply, provided they submit a Hope Certificate from their institution
Candidates who fail to obtain 55% marks in the final exam despite submitting a Hope Certificate will be disqualified
Education & Training
Duration: 2 years of residential training at Pakistan Marine Academy, Karachi
Degrees & Certifications:
Upon successful completion, cadets will receive an Associate Degree in Nautical Science or Marine Engineering from National University of Engineering and Technology NUET, Karachi
Cadets will also be awarded IMO International Maritime Organization approved Marine Course Certificates

The Ministry of Maritime Affairs offers 33 Merit-Based Scholarships:
Balochistan: 15
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 6
Punjab: 6
Sindh: 6
PMA Admission Process
Submit Completed Form With:
Pay Order / Bank Draft of Rs. 4,000 in favor of Pakistan Marine Academy, NBP PMA Branch Code: 0239
Forms must be submitted via courier service
Deadline for Form Submission: 25th July 2025
Entry Test & Selection Procedure
Written Entry Test Date: Sunday, 10th August 202
Test Centers: Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Gwadar, Sukkur, Muzaffarabad
Minimum Passing Marks: 50%
Medical Examination:
Conducted at designated Army/Navy hospitals
Final Selection Based On:

Test Requirement Time Limit
Running 1 mile 1.6 km 8 minutes
Push-Ups 15 repetitions 2 minutes
Sit-Ups 15 repetitions 2 minutes
Chin-Ups 2 repetitions 2 minutes
Note: PET and interview dates will be updated on PMA’s website and communicated via SMS to shortlisted candidates.
Disqualification Criteria
Candidates will be disqualified if they:
Submit forged academic documents
Have been expelled due to misconduct or poor academic performance
Were dismissed/resigned from Armed Forces or Government institutions
Have criminal convictions or moral misconduct records
Are medically declared unfit or color blind
