Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated the Pakistan Education Endowment Fund, a significant initiative aimed at providing scholarships to financially disadvantaged students. The launch took place in Islamabad, where the Prime Minister also unveiled reforms in the National Curriculum. Highlighting his previous leadership achievements, the Prime Minister mentioned the establishment of the Punjab Education Endowment Fund in 2008, which successfully granted scholarships to four hundred and fifty thousand students. This accomplishment serves as a testament to his commitment to providing educational opportunities for the youth.


Federal Minister for Education Supports the Initiative

Federal Minister for Education, Rana Tanveer Hussain, also attended the launching ceremony and expressed his support for the endowment fund. He shared that scholarships under this initiative would cover a wide range of disciplines, including nursing, engineering, and social sciences.
