PICO Ophthalmic Technician Course Admissions Open 2024
The Pakistan Institute of Community Ophthalmology PICO, based at Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar, has announced admissions for the 2024-2026 session of its Diploma Course in Ophthalmic Technician. This two-year program is affiliated with the Medical Faculty of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and is designed to equip students with the latest skills and knowledge in ophthalmology.
PICO Course Details
The Ophthalmic Technician Course spans two years, offering comprehensive training in ophthalmic techniques. Fresh candidates with matriculation in Biology Science and at least 50% marks are eligible to apply, with an age limit of up to 30 years. In-service candidates up to 45 years of age can also apply.

The PICO Admissions 2024 process begins with the availability of prospectus and forms online at the PICO website starting from September 9, 2024. The last date for submission is September 27, 2024. Key dates include the Hafiz-e-Quran Test on September 30, interviews for Disabled Persons on October 1, and final merit lists released on October 9, 2024.
