PHS Lady Health Visitor LHV Training 2026-2029 Admissions

The Directorate General of Health Services, Sindh, is pleased to announce that admissions are now open for the prestigious PHS Sindh LHV Training Course for the 2026-2029 session. This is an exceptional opportunity for dedicated women to embark on a fulfilling professional career in public health across various Public Health Schools in Sindh, including Hyderabad, Karachi, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, Larkana, and Benazirabad.
Eligibility Criteria and Academic Requirements
To ensure the high standards of our healthcare workforce, candidates must meet the following educational qualifications and criteria:
Educational Background: Candidates must have passed their Intermediate Pre-Medical examination from a recognized board in Sindh with at least 49% marks. In the event that seats remain vacant, candidates who have completed their Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with at least 45% marks will be considered.
Domicile: Applicants must possess a valid Sindh domicile.
Age Limit: Eligible candidates must be between 14 and 35 years of age, as per the regulations set by the Pakistan Nursing Council.
Application Process and Training Facilities
Candidates are encouraged to apply to the Public Health School corresponding to their district of domicile. The LHV training course spans a comprehensive period, followed by a mandatory examination; successful graduates will be awarded the official certification. Students will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 3240. Additionally, those who require residential facilities may opt for the hostel accommodation provided, with the condition that the monthly stipend will be deducted for boarding expenses. Prospective students can obtain the admission form from their respective Public Health Schools in Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Benazirabad, Sukkur, Larkana, or Karachi for a nominal fee of Rs. 300.
Required Documentation and Submission
To complete your application, please ensure all documents are duly attested and attached:
Academic Records: Copies of your Matric and Intermediate Pre-Medical mark sheets and certificates.
Identification: A copy of your CNIC or B-Form, along with your Domicile certificate.
Additional Requirements: School character certificate, a recent CNIC copy, and four passport-sized photographs.
Final Submission: Ensure all documents are signed and verified.
The final date for application submission is July 25, 2026.
Written Test and Interview Schedule
All registered applicants are required to appear for a mandatory written test and interview. These assessments are scheduled to take place on July 30 and July 31, 2026, at the respective Public Health Schools. Candidates must bring their original documents for verification on the day of the test. Please note that admission is subject to final approval and merit-based selection.
