Petition Filed for Re-Conduct of MDCAT Test for Admission in Medical Colleges

The students, who seek admission in the MBBS class in the medical colleges, they approached to Islamabad High Court to request for MDCAT test. The students requested the court that the honorable court may issue order to the medical colleges to get their MDCAT test again. It is requested in the application that the court issues orders to take admission in the medical admission test again and give the grace marks on the out of syllabus question as the relief to the students. In the application, the Secretary of Ministry of Health and President PMDC are made the parties in this case. The VC of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University and Chairman National Medical and Dental Board are also included in the stakeholders. The applicant said that the MDCAT test was conducted on 22-09-2024 and there were 26 to 27 MCQs out of total 200 MCQs was out of syllabus. When the students found these out of syllabus, there were shocked as they could not give the answers of these out of syllabus questions.
