PEC Need-Cum-Merit Based Scholarship for Students

Pakistan Engineering Council has launched the PEC Need-Cum-Merit Based Scholarship for Students and the students of engineering can apply for this scholarship. The students of the public sector universities can apply for the scholarships to become competent engineer and the PEC Scholarship committee will carry out the assessment of the scholarship with respective HEIs to grant this scholarship as per provided criteria.

The main objective for the launching of this scholarship is to support the deserving students financially and the students of underprivileged areas can avail this facility to meet their financial expenses being incurred on their education. The candidates are encouraged to submit their application forms and this scholarship will be granted to eligible candidates for 4 years and the authorities will provide the amount of 100,000 rupees to the selected candidates every year for tuition fees, living expenses and books.

The candidates must be enrolled in PEC accredited undergraduate engineering programs in public sector universities and they must have domicile of AJK, Baluchistan, GB, KPK, Tribal Areas, Sindh and Punjab. The family income of the students must be less than Rs.50,000 and the students, who are already availing any other scholarship, they are not eligible to avail this scholarship. The candidates can visit the official website to fill online application forms in PEC scholarship scheme and they will send their application forms by the final date of 31-10-2020. The candidates need to fulfill the requirements in the application forms so that their application forms can be processed without any hurdle.
