PEBs Increase Matric Registration & Migration Charges for 2026–28 Session

PEBs Increase Matric Registration & Migration Charges for 2026–28 Session

All nine Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education operating in Punjab have revised the registration and related charges for matriculation students for the 2026–28 academic cycle. This decision, taken due to increasing financial pressures on the boards, has raised concerns among parents and educators about the added financial strain on families. The registration process has already started, and students are encouraged to submit their forms before the due date of June 8 to avoid extra charges. The students can get the latest information of PEBs Increase Matric Registration & Migration Charges for 2026–28 Session.

New Fee Structure Introduced for SSC Registration Across Punjab

Under the updated fee structure, the total registration cost has been fixed at Rs. 2,350. This amount includes Rs. 1,150 as the registration fee, Rs. 870 for processing, and Rs. 300 as a mandatory sports fee. Officials have confirmed that this structure will be applied equally across all Punjab boards, including BISE Lahore and other regional boards. Students and parents can access detailed fee schedules, including migration and correction charges, through official websites where complete documents are available for transparency.

To accommodate those who may miss the initial deadline, the boards have allowed a late submission period from June 9 to June 23, during which an additional Rs. 600 will be charged, increasing the total to Rs. 2,950. The registration fee remains the same for both 9th and 10th classes, as the boards have standardized charges for SSC Part I and Part II. While registration fees are separate, admission and examination charges for 10th class will also follow the revised structure.

To simplify the procedure, an online registration system has been introduced, allowing students to submit applications, upload documents, and pay fees digitally through official board portals. For registration, students must provide their B-Form along with their father’s valid CNIC, ensuring accurate record verification and avoiding future issues.

In addition to registration fees, other charges have also been increased. The migration fee for students transferring between boards has been set at Rs. 4,800, which is considered significantly high. Similarly, corrections in personal information can be made until October 31 for a fee of Rs. 750, after which it increases to Rs. 1,250. Changes in elective subjects will cost Rs. 2,400 before the deadline and Rs. 2,900 afterward, reflecting the updated fee policy introduced by the boards.
