PBTE Diplomas Level 5 1st Annual Practical Exams Schedule 2026

The Punjab Board of Technical Education PBTE has officially issued a crucial notification addressed to all principals of affiliated technical institutions across Punjab and Gilgit-Baltistan. Dated July 23, 2026, the circular outlines strict operational guidelines for conducting the upcoming PBTE 1^st annual practical Exams of 2026. These instructions specifically cover key technical programs including the Diploma of Associate Engineer DAE, Diploma in Dress Making DDM, DAE Engineering Level-5, and Level-5 Dress Designing and Dress Making courses. Institutions are instructed to execute all testing procedures in precise accordance with the previously shared memo number 4164/2026/Technical, warning that non-compliance will place full administrative liability directly on the respective institute.

Exams Schedule and Deadlines for Practical Tests

To ensure seamless execution, PBTE has established a strict operational PBTE DAE & DDM 2026 practical Exams timetable. According to the notified schedule:

July 29, 2026: Official commencement date for first-year technical practical exams.
September 1, 2026: Final closing date for concluding all practical testing sessions.
September 7, 2026: Final deadline for submitting candidate award lists and attendance records to the board office.

Furthermore, institutions must complete their practical evaluations well before September 1, 2026, and compile their group-wise practical award lists alongside candidate attendance sheets within a strict four-day window following the conclusion of exams. These documents must then be dispatched securely via courier service to the Chief Secrecy Officer at the PBTE main office located at 21-A, Kashmir Block, Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore.

Appointment of External Examiners and Assessment Protocols

Maintaining rigorous standards of evaluation is a top priority for the Punjab Board of Technical Education. For first-year practical assessments, external examiners and assessors will be officially designated directly by the board office. Institutions must ensure the physical presence of these appointed examiners throughout the duration of the tests.
