Panic Emergency Buttons Installed in Lahore Colleges and Universities
To enhance the privacy and safety of female students, pink emergency buttons have been installed in various colleges and universities across Lahore. This initiative aims to provide a quick response system in case of emergencies. The students can get latest updates of Pink Buttons Installed in Lahore’s Colleges and Universities to Ensure Female Students’ Safety.
Installation Completed in 39 Institutions
According to a spokesperson for the Safe Cities Authority, pink button installation has already been completed in 39 women colleges and universities in Lahore, ensuring enhanced security for students.
Province-Wide Expansion Planned
The spokesperson further stated that the installation process will continue in phases, covering a total of 450 women’s colleges across Punjab. This step is part of a broader strategy to improve student safety at educational institutions.
Immediate Police Assistance Available
With the help of the pink button, female students can instantly alert authorities and receive prompt police assistance in any emergency situation. The Safe Cities Control Room will be notified immediately after the button is pressed.
Facility Already Functional at Multiple Locations
Currently, the pink button service is active at 101 locations across Punjab, including 122 key points in Lahore, significantly strengthening the safety network for female students.
