Pakistan Introduces Free Skill Development Courses
Under the Prime Minister’s Special Initiative, the Government of Pakistan has launched a new program offering free professional training courses lasting three to six months. Although the scheme primarily focuses on the children of overseas Pakistanis, adults are also encouraged to enroll. This project is a collaborative effort between the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission NAVTTC and the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation OPF. Training Programs in High-Demand Fields
Applicants will have the opportunity to join training courses designed to meet modern market demands. The programs include:
- Digital Marketing
- Cybersecurity
- Artificial Intelligence
- Web Development
- Electrician Skills
- Welding
- Other technical and vocational trades
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for enrollment, applicants must have at least completed matriculation Grade 10 or a higher level of education. The program caters to individuals between the ages of 18 and 40, making it accessible to both young adults and those seeking mid-career skill enhancement.
Application Deadline
The final date for submission of applications is 30 September 2025. Interested candidates are advised to register as soon as possible, as seats are limited and demand is expected to be high.
Online Registration Process
Applications can be submitted online through the official portal at nsis.navttc.gov.pk. This initiative seeks to provide the children of overseas Pakistanis with practical training in technical and digital fields, enabling them to pursue improved employment opportunities in Pakistan and abroad.
