Subjects in Morning and Evening Shifts
In the morning shift, students attempted papers in Education, Quran, and Geometric and Technical Drawing. The afternoon session covered History of Pakistan, History of Islam, and Food and Nutrition. The Board planned the division of subjects into two shifts to reduce overcrowding, manage resources efficiently, and balance theoretical and practical assessments.
Examination Centers and Student Participation
Out of the 91 exam centers, 38 were for female students and 51 for male students, while two centers were set up inside prisons to accommodate incarcerated candidates. The inclusivity of arrangements reflects the Board’s efforts to provide fair access while maintaining gender-appropriate facilities.
Monitoring and Security Measures
Nearly 983 officials, including superintendents, invigilators, and administrative staff, have been deployed to supervise the examinations. Their responsibilities include ensuring discipline, verifying student identity, and implementing emergency protocols. Strict anti-cheating measures and health guidelines have been enforced, with additional coordination at prison centers to maintain fairness and integrity.
Student Guidelines and Practical Needs
Candidates were instructed to arrive early, carry valid identification, and bring the required stationery to avoid last-minute difficulties. For practical subjects such as Technical Drawing and Food and Nutrition, exam centers were directed to ensure that students had access to essential tools and supplies.
Communication and Future Plans
The Lahore Board has issued clear instructions, helplines, and bulletins to guide students and parents on seating arrangements, reporting times, and permitted items. Supervisors were briefed on handling emergencies, late arrivals, and irregularities uniformly.
With more than 55,000 candidates and close to one thousand supervisory staff mobilized, the successful start of the first day sets the tone for the remaining examinations. The Board is expected to release further schedules and post-exam notices regarding evaluation and result compilation in the coming days.
