Over 400,000 Students Unable to Clear Inter Exams 2025 Across Pakistan
Inter Board Committee of Chairmen IBCC has issued countrywide statistics regarding the 2025 Inter exams, revealing that over 400,000 students could not successfully pass the exams. Punjab Records Highest Number of Failed Candidates
According to the released figures, Punjab reported the largest number of unsuccessful candidates among all provinces. Around 759,431 students from nine educational boards participated in the Inter exams, while 270,068 students failed to qualify.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a total of 282,585 students from eight educational boards appeared in the annual exams. Among them, 5,316 students were declared unsuccessful.
Sindh also recorded a significant number of failures. Data shows that 380,013 students from six educational boards took part in the exams, with 53,034 students unable to pass.
Meanwhile, in Balochistan, 54,456 students appeared in the annual exams conducted under the Quetta board, and 3,147 candidates failed the exams.
The Federal Board of Inter and Secondary Education FBISE reported that 100,993 students participated in the exams, out of which 17,319 students were unsuccessful.
The report further stated that another group of 48,031 Inter students appeared in a separate set of exams, and none of the candidates managed to pass.
The statistics released by the IBCC provide an overview of student performance in Inter exams held across Pakistan during 2025.
