National University of Medical Sciences has officially announced the NUMS MDCAT 2026 for admissions in MBBS and BDS programs for the academic session 2026-27. The entrance test will be conducted for admissions in all NUMS constituent, affiliated, private sector, and Armed Forces administered medical and dental colleges across Pakistan. Students preparing for medical admissions are now actively searching for updates regarding the NUMS MDCAT registration 2026, exam date, syllabus, eligibility criteria, and fee structure.
 
 
According to the official notification issued by National University of Medical Sciences, Rawalpindi NUMS the MDCAT 2026 exam will be held on Sunday, 23 August 2026. The test will start simultaneously at 10:00 AM PST at all local examination centers, while timings for international centers will be mentioned on admit cards. Candidates with Pakistani citizenship, overseas Pakistanis, dual nationals, and foreign nationals are eligible to apply. Students awaiting FSc, HSSC, A-Levels, or 12th-grade results can also submit applications for the entry test. The university has clarified that the exam will only remain valid for admissions in MBBS and BDS session 2026-27.
 
 
The online registration process for NUMS MDCAT for Admissions in MBBS & BDS Session 2026-27 started on 18 May 2026. Students can submit applications with a regular fee until 08 June 2026, while late registration will continue until 15 June 2026. The registration fee for Pakistani test centers is Rs. 7,500, while late registration costs Rs. 8,500. International candidates will have to pay Rs. 40,000, and late registration for international centers costs Rs. 50,000. The test will include 150 MCQs from Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English, followed by a psychological assessment section containing 50 MCQs. There will be no negative marking in the examination. Candidates can apply online and check detailed syllabus information through the official NUMS Rawalpindi portal.
