NUMS Admissions 2026 CHPE
The National University of Medical Sciences NUMS, Islamabad invites applications for admission to the 11th Batch of the Certificate in Health Professions Education CHPE – 2026. This program is designed to enhance the educational competencies of health professionals through innovative teaching strategies and learner-centered approaches under the guidance of experienced faculty.
About the Program
The CHPE program focuses on developing key competencies in health professions education by promoting active learning, contextualized hands-on tasks, and practical application of educational concepts. The curriculum empowers participants to take responsibility for their own learning while benefiting from expert mentorship.
Program Details
Duration: 06 months
Credits: 12
Number of Courses: 04 courses each of 5–6 weeks duration
The university reserves the right to exercise discretion in the selection of applicants. Candidates who cannot be accommodated in the current batch may be considered for the next intake.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
16 years of education in a relevant discipline, including:
MBBS / BDS or equivalent
BS Nursing
BS Allied Health Sciences AHS
Valid registration with the relevant regulatory body, where applicable
Learning and Instructional Approach
The program is delivered through a blended learning model, which includes:
Face-to-Face Session:
One mandatory 5-day face-to-face session at the beginning of the program. These sessions will be conducted at different locations based on the number of applicants from each city and surrounding areas.
Distance Learning:
Instruction through Distance Learning Study Groups DLSGs using Moodle software, providing access to learning materials, discussions, and course assessments.
Assessment System
Assessment will be carried out through:
Continuous assessment
End-of-course summative assessments
Final certification examination

A No Objection Certificate NOC from the employer is mandatory for employed applicants, where applicable.
No registration requests will be accepted after 13 February 2026 under any circumstances.
