 The National University of Medical Sciences NUMS is now accepting applications for the 4th Batch of its Postgraduate Certificate in Palliative Care PG-CPC for Fall 2025.

This 26-week hybrid program is designed for healthcare professionals who aim to enhance their ability to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with life-limiting and serious illnesses.

 About the NUMS Admissions Process:
Palliative care is a holistic, patient-centered medical specialty that focuses on improving the quality of life for individuals with serious or terminal conditions. This program equips participants with the clinical knowledge, communication skills, and empathetic approach needed to manage pain and symptoms while supporting the emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being of patients and their families.

24-week self-paced online learning through the NUMS e-learning portal
Synchronous online teaching sessions
Hybrid communication skills workshop at the NUMS campus in Rawalpindi in-person for local participants; Zoom for others

Strongly recommended for:
Interns, residents, primary care physicians, oncology/ICU doctors, nurses involved in oncology, ICU, internal medicine, home health services, or any professionals managing palliative care patients.
