New Visa Policy Puts Student Appointments on Hold
The U.S. government has temporarily halted new student visa appointments at American embassies worldwide, following President Donald Trump’s directive to enhance background checks on international students and exchange visitors. According to a memo from Secretary of State Marco Rubio, all unscheduled student visa interviews are to be removed from embassy calendars until further notice.
