New Policy Frees Primary Students from Carrying Books to School
In an effort to reduce the burden on young learners, government primary schools in the Islamabad Capital Territory ICT are implementing a new policy that eliminates the need for students to carry books between home and school. Classroom Storage Solutions
Under this initiative, classrooms will be furnished with pigeon holes and book racks to store books, creating a more convenient and child-friendly learning environment. This aims to lighten school bags and promote a healthier educational experience.
Policy Development and Implementation
Education Secretary Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, in an interview with a national daily, shared that he has been working on this policy for over a month. He assured that all necessary arrangements will be finalized before the reopening of schools.
Positive Impact on Students and Parents
Wani expressed that the decision is a significant relief for both parents and students, and is expected to positively influence young minds. The new policy is set to be effective from August 1, with all government primary schools in the capital making the necessary preparations.
