NDU Announces Ph.D Programs Merit List 2025

The National Defence University NDU has officially released the NDU Merit List for Fall admissions, including undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. programs. The announcement marks a major step for candidates awaiting their results, as the university has now published the NDU Merit List for Ph.D Programs 2025 alongside other academic disciplines.

According to the official notification, admission offer letters and fee vouchers have been emailed directly to all successful applicants through the same email addresses used during their application process. Candidates are advised to check their inbox — and spam folders — to avoid missing important updates.

The last date to submit the admission fee is 12 October 2025, and the university has made it clear that no extensions will be granted under any circumstances. Payments can be conveniently made online through the designated banking app. A video tutorial guiding the process is available on the NDU website.

Among the top names in the NDU Merit List 2025 are Syed Asghar Abbas Bokhari, son of Saghir Hussain Bokhari, and Sheeraz Farooq, son of Muhammad Farooq, who secured places in their respective programs. Another group of successful candidates includes Kashmala Dilawar, daughter of Dilawar Khan Bangash, and Syed Raza Haider, son of Syed Baqir Hussain Late.

In the NDU Merit List for Ph.D Programs 2025, the selected candidates include Tanveer Aslam recommended with deficiency courses, Memoona Ikram, Shahtaj Maqsood, and Nouman Siddique. These individuals will be joining NDU’s prestigious doctoral programs in International Relations IR, Peace and Conflict Studies PCS, and Leadership and Management Studies LMS.

The university has instructed all selected candidates to submit required documents on 9 October 2025, before the commencement of classes on 13 October 2025. The documents include a surety bond or undertaking on Rs.100 stamp paper, a duly filled registration form, and the necessary security clearance and membership forms. All forms can be downloaded from the NDU website or collected from the relevant department.

The NDU Islamabad administration emphasized that errors or omissions are excepted, and any discrepancies found in the merit list will be corrected accordingly. This announcement of the NDU Merit List 2025 reflects the university’s commitment to maintaining transparency and academic excellence. Candidates are urged to follow all deadlines carefully to secure their admission to one of Pakistan’s most respected defense and academic institutions.
