NCHD Launches Free Admissions in Islamabad 2026

The National Commission for Human Development NCHD, working under the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Government of Pakistan, has launched the Admission Campaign 2026 for Non-Formal Education Centers in Islamabad.
This initiative aims to provide free and compulsory education to children who are currently out of school or have discontinued their studies. The program is part of the government’s commitment to ensure education for all children under Article 25-A of the Constitution of Pakistan, which guarantees the right to free and compulsory education for children between the ages of 5 and 16 years.

Purpose of the Program

The campaign is designed to help children who have never attended school or had to leave their education incomplete due to any reason. Through these non-formal education centers, children are given the opportunity to restart their education and build a better future.
The initiative is based on the principle of “No Child Left Behind,” ensuring that every child has access to quality learning opportunities.

Facilities Provided

Students enrolled in these non-formal education centers will receive several benefits free of cost, including:
•Free textbooks
•Free school bags and uniforms
•Opportunities for admission into government schools after completing the program
These facilities are designed to encourage families to enroll their children and ensure that financial difficulties do not prevent them from receiving an education.

Eligibility Criteria

The program is open to the following categories of children:
•Children aged 5 to 9 years who are currently out of school
•Children aged 9 to 16 years who started education but could not complete it
Preference will be given to children residing in Islamabad who have limited access to formal schooling.

Admission Campaign Dates

The enrollment campaign will run from 1 March 2026 to 30 April 2026 in various Non-Formal Education Centers across Islamabad.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to register their children during this period to ensure they can benefit from this opportunity.

Admission Procedure

Admission forms can be obtained free of cost from:
•The nearest Non-Formal Education Center, or
•The office of the National Commission for Human Development.
Since seats are limited, parents are advised to contact the centers as soon as possible and complete the admission process without delay.

A Step Toward a Brighter Future

Education is the fundamental right of every child and a constitutional responsibility of the Government of Pakistan. Through this initiative, the government aims to ensure that no child is deprived of education and every young learner gets the opportunity to develop knowledge, skills, and confidence for a better future.
Parents are encouraged to take advantage of this campaign and enroll their children in the Non-Formal Education Centers in Islamabad so they can begin their journey toward learning and success
