Nasheman Announces Free Vocational Training for Persons with Disabilities
The Nasheman Home for the Disabled, a specialized institution in Lahore, has officially opened admissions for its free vocational training programs for the year 2026. These courses are tailored to empower physically challenged, deaf, and mute men and women by providing them with market-competitive skills.
All programs are free of cost and include additional support facilities to ensure an inclusive learning environment.
Vocational Courses Offered
The institute offers several skill-based programs with varying durations:
- 6-Month Courses: Mobile Repairing + Computer Hardware, Computer Software, General Electrician, and Domestic Tailoring.
- 3-Month Courses: Cooking and Baking, Arts and Crafts, Telephone Operator + Call Center training, and Beautician courses.
Facilities and Eligibility
To support students coming from outside Lahore, the institution provides free hostel and mess food facilities. Students also have access to indoor and outdoor gym facilities. All courses are technically affiliated with relevant boards.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age: 18 to 50 years for both men and women.
- Requirements: Applicants must possess a disability certificate from a District Assessment Board.
- Documents: Copies of CNIC and educational certificates are mandatory.
