Murree Schools to Observe Extended Winter Holidays
The Murree district administration has declared an extended winter holidays for schools and colleges in the hilly regions, following a notification issued by the Punjab Education Department. The students can get fresh updates of Murree Schools to Observe Extended Winter Break.
Duration and Scope of Winter Vacation
According to the notice from the Chief Executive Officer of the District Education Authority Murree, the winter holidays will be in effect from December 22 to March 7 in Murree and Kotli Sattian, as a precaution against severe winter weather. All public and private educational institutions in these areas are expected to resume classes on March 9.
Examination and Academic Instructions
School authorities have been directed to complete midterm examinations before the start of the winter break. Additionally, institutions are instructed to release exam results before the holidays begin, ensuring smooth academic management despite the extended closure.
Safety Measures for Students and Staff
Officials emphasized that the prolonged winter vacation is intended to protect students and staff from hazardous weather conditions in the mountainous terrain, prioritizing their safety during the harsh winter season.
