M.Phil Programs Admissions 2025 open in GCU

Online Registration Opens: 12th May 2025

Last Date to Apply: 23rd May 2025

GCU-GAT/I Test Dates: 31st May & 01st June 2025

Result Announcement: 10th June 2025

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for MS/MPhil programs, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Educational Background:

16 years of education MA/MSc, BA/BSc Hons, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institution.

Minimum CGPA of 2.50/4.00 semester system or 50% marks annual system.

GCU-GAT Requirement:

A minimum of 50% marks in the GCU-GAT/I 2025 test is mandatory for eligibility.

Applicants under the Disability Quota are also required to take the GCU-GAT.

Provisional Applications:

Final-year students awaiting BS Semester-VIII results can apply provisionally, subject to result declaration before commencement of classes.

Specialized Eligibility for MPhil in Freshwater Biology, Fisheries & Aquaculture:

Applicants must hold a BSc Hons/BS degree in Zoology, Freshwater Biology, Fisheries & Aquaculture, or Applied Fisheries with at least 2.50/4.00 CGPA or 50% marks.

How to Register for GCU-GAT/I 2025

Follow these steps to complete your registration:

Online Registration:

Visit www.gcuonline.pk and complete the GAT registration form online.

Fee Payment:

Generate a challan form after submitting your application.

Deposit the processing fee of Rs. 1500/- at any UBL branch across Pakistan.

Note: Payments made via UBL Mobile App or Omni are not accepted.

No Hard Copy Required:

Do not send a printed copy of the GAT form to the university.

For each subject, a separate form and processing fee is required.

Roll Number Slips & Seating Plan:

Will be available online on the GCU portal and official website before the test date.

No SMS or email notifications will be sent.
