Ministry of Religious Affairs MORA is pleased to announce a scholarship program aimed at supporting minority students in pursuing their education at various levels, ranging from primary education to undergraduate and masters studies. Scholarships for the financial year 2023-24 are now open for application, with a deadline of November 7, 2023, for submission. Application Process:

Interested students can access the application form for the MORA Scholarship for minorities through the official Ministry of Religious Affairs website.


Applicants must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria outlined below.


Eligibility Criteria 2022-23:

To be eligible for the MORA Minority Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:


  • Enrolled as regular students in Government or Public Sector Institutes, including schools, colleges, and universities.

  • Maintained a minimum of 50% marks in their previous academic year.

  • Belong to minority groups and demonstrate financial need.

  • Orphans, handicapped students, and those with a strong educational track record are encouraged to apply.


Application Requirements:

To apply for the scholarship, applicants must follow these guidelines:


  • Submit the application online, accompanied by the last two duly attested annual marks sheets.

  • Provide an original income certificate of their parents or guardians.

  • Ensure that all student information is certified by the Head of the Educational Institute.

  • Attach an attested copy of the school progress report or marks sheet from the last annual examination. Marks sheets prepared on plain paper will not be accepted.

  • The Head of the Institute should verify the completeness of the application, including required documents and certificates, and send a list of eligible students to the Ministry with a signed covering letter. Only applications received through educational institutions will be considered.

  • Students currently receiving financial assistance, stipends, or scholarships from other sources are not eligible for this scholarship.

  • Include the applicants CNIC number or NADRA B-form for those under 18 and attach copies.

  • Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

  • Private institute students are not eligible for this scholarship.

  • Parents and guardians are advised to provide contact numbers and email addresses for prompt communication regarding any queries.


Note: Applications received before or after the specified deadline will not be considered.


Deadline:

Applications, complete in every respect and supported by the required documentation, must be submitted within 30 days of the publication of this advertisement. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained. Application forms are also available in newspapers for photocopying.
